Ontario Early Years Registry. Another website that I run that documents the rarest Ontario plates from the early 20th century. With the advent of social media, it seems more rare early plates have been surfacing and thought it would be beneficial for the collecting community to have one central repository for keeping track of these sightings. A common question always seems to pop up asking: “I wonder how many of those still exist?”. I’m hoping this website will be an attempt to answer that question.

Brokenstick.ca Owner/Artist Mike Patriquin creates picture frames and bottle openers made from old wooden hockey sticks. In addition to this, he also makes wall maps of Canada, sports logos and custom made creations by utilizing old, unusable and non-valuable license plates. The History of Ontario's King's Highways by Cameron Beavers of Ontario. Very comprehensive site dedicated to the history of Ontario's highway system with a multitude of historical and present day pictures.

The Central Terminal Restoration Corporation (CTRC) was founded in 1997 to oversee the stabilization and restoration of the Buffalo Central Terminal. A massive Art Deco train station that some Buffalo citizens are trying to save. I had a chance to visit the terminal in 2006 and it was truly amazing tour and step back in time. Well worth a visit if you’re in the area.
